The kids have all had a brilliant first day at Land and Wave. Team building activities followed by fish and chips and a bit of crabbing. Could not have asked for a more beautiful day. Coasteering and pioneering tomorrow. I have had trouble uploading photos but will hopefully be able to get some on the website tomorrow.
INSPIRE DAY HOMEWORK - 14.10.16
This week's homework will be to research and design a castle to build at school next Friday. Searching online for instructions/ ideas would be a great place to start. Children need to collect any materials that they need for their castle at home and bring them in to school on the day.
Parents have been invited in to help their children build the castles on Friday 21st October from 9am until 10.30am as part of our 'House that Jack Built' Inspire day.
Please try to keep the castles to a fairly modest size.
Glue/paint etc. can be provided by the school.
Have fun designing and I look forward to seeing what you prepare!
All learning information will be added to this page over the course of the year.
Homework will be set weekly; spellings will be set and tested on a Monday. I expect children to try and read for at least 10-15 minutes at home every day.
Oak class will be doing P.E on Wednesdays and Fridays, so please ensure kit is in school on these days.
If parents or guardians have any queries or concerns over the year, please do not hesitate to come and see me in class at the end of the school day.
