Music

Dear parents and carers,

Many of you will already be aware that James Packer (keyboard, drums and violin tutor) is off work at the moment due to illness, and will not be back at work until February at the earliest.  He has kindly put us in touch with one of his music colleagues who may be able to cover some of his lessons until his return.

Sarah Venitt has provided us with the following resume of her experience:

I am a qualified primary school teacher with 20 years' experience in Somerset schools, often leading music, and I have been working as a self-employed music teacher since 2017. I also work as an associate lecturer at Bath Spa University, teaching the music element of the PGCE course. I have grade 8 in piano and flute and I also teach recorder. I play in bands for fun (one with James, whose lessons I am covering) and act as MD for a local panto.

If you are interested in taking up lessons with Sara, they would be conducted online, after school time and in your own home.
Although Sara has provided the school with a DBS, we must emphasise that if you choose to engage Sara in teaching your child, that you will be entirely responsible for ensuring that your child's safety by being present during the lesson, sorting out payment for the lessons and helping your child to practise and be ready for their lessons.

If you have any further queries please contact Sara directly: svenitt@hotmail.com
