Home Learning

Homework will now be assigned every Thursday and will be sent home as a paper copy. Spellings for the term are tested each Friday. Homework is a mixture of CLL, Maths and wider topic work. Children are encouraged but not expected to complete homework each week.

PE will take place on a Thursday with Mr Williams and a Friday with Mrs Turnbull. Please ensure your child comes to school with their swimming kit each Monday and dressed in the correct kit for their Thursday lesson.

Reading

We will be using the Oxford Reading Buddy website to promote learning in school and at home, alongside colour banded books.

Forest school/Let's Get Cooking

We will be participating in Forest School for the first three weeks of this half term with Mrs Harris. The following three weeks will be our Let's Get Cooking sessions with Mrs Hooley and Miss Amor.

Multiplication

We use TTRockStars both in school and at home to build confidence with multiplication and division skills in preparation for the National Year 4 Multiplication Check. The children's log in details can be found stuck in their reading records.
