Welcome to Autumn 1 

Our book focus is 'The Firework Maker's Daughter' by Phillip Pullman.

This term our topic is 'Light Rocks!'

This term our pivotal domain is Science and Technology. We will focus our learning on 'Light'. We will be learning about how shadows are formed, change shape and direction.

We will also have a focus on 'Volcanoes and Earthquakes' in Geography. Through this topic we will understand how volcanoes are formed and what causes volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.

In our Jigsaw PSHE sessions this half-term, we will be looking at 'Being Me In My World'.

Our school value for this half term is 'Responsibility'.

PE will be on Thursdays this half-term.
