Snack and drink

Please ensure your child brings a healthy snack to school each day (fruit, vegetables, etc), as well as water in a refillable drinks bottle. A reminder that we are a NUT FREE school.

 

Home Learning

Children will continue to receive home learning every Friday which will be due the following Thursday. Please try to complete this with your children if you can as it will help to consolidate their learning, however, we understand that this is sometimes not possible and therefore there is no pressure at this early stage in their learning. 

 

Oracy Presentations

Children will be given a date to present to the class something of their choice to develop their Oracy skills. 

 

Bookbags

Please ensure children are bringing their bookbag into school each day.  Please ensure no other items, especially toys, are not being brought into school. 

 

PE

P.E will continue take place on Tuesday's. Please can the children continue to come into school wearing their P.E kits. Please dress your children in the appropriate P.E kit for the weather.

 

Reading

We use Read Write Inc. as our phonics scheme to encourage progress in reading.

 

School Day

Our school day runs from 8:45am - 3:15pm. The gate opens at 8:45am in readiness for registration. 

 

Tapestry

Tapestry will continue to be used by EYFS staff in order to record learning against the EYFS curriculum. Please feel free to add any of your observations from what the children are doing at home... we love to see this on their journal! 

 

Outdoor learning 

Please ensure children have an outdoor coat, wellies and spare clothes in school at all times.
